RE: Seth's corner

Long story short: Fire is sick of putting up with other members of the alliance getting away with completely breaking the rules of conduct, etc. Yeah I know what you're going to say. That it's hypocritical of me to say this because you've seen me drop the F-bomb here and there. I admit it, okay. I have a potty mouth when I see my friends and I get slaughtered but it's really more of an expression of frustration rather than abusing anyone else. You know what else I'm not doing? I'm not going on and bashing other groups of people or saying sexually explicit things. Some of you are. This needs to stop before the alliance falls apart. As it is, we're teetering. My former guild Odin has become as far as I'm concerned,  completely self contained. FIRE could either go that way or start kicking certain guilds. The bottom line is that there's tension with certain members of certain guilds and the only way for us to have any peace of mind that we won't have to read anything offensive is to lump the good with the bad. We're losing ground and we're losing good alliance members because of this. Someone wake me from this nightmare.

I agree dude, we lost really great teams bc of this, and im even more embarassed over the fact that one of which I invited to join us bc at the time we were a great alliance. It seems the other leaders have seriously lowered their standards and bc of it, everyone else gets hurt. Its retarded that no matter how many times we emphasize this in meetings, they still do nothing about it. I suppose they'll take the hint once they are tossed to the curb.

Leaders should be leaders and put certain things aside if they want to have a successful guild. I'm also tired of seeing new members using Alliance Chat as a  trade channel. It's also sad that most newer players don't even have a basic grasp of the geography. I just think, what ever happened to playing the game to explore things for yourself? These days people are rushing through the game to get to the endgame areas without even picking up a little lore along the way. This is a role-playing game! The goal shouldn't be to grind enough gold to afford glowing hands! It's like, "learn your place" until you've played this game for at least a year. Don't expect things to be handed to you on a silver platter and don't think that you're the exception to the rule when it comes to hard work and dedication. People see my characters and they're like "oh he's rich, he must be a snob or elitist." nothing can be further from the truth. I've been playing for 4 years and I have sacrificed a LOT of time, energy, and in-game gold to get to where I am. And don't forget, KNOWLEDGE IS POWER. Learn everything you can: learn about skills, lore, materials, NPC's, and most importantly GEOGRAPHY.
