Welcome to Serpents Ascendant

We are a dedicated roleplaying guild in Age of Conan on Hyrkania server. Members must be mature, 18 or older, and interested in roleplaying. Currently we accept heavy to light roleplayers, so there is no pressure to roleplay constantly but you must be in character in Say chat. Time you can spend in-game is not a requirement, we understand some people have more time than others.

Characters may be in "the family" and follow Set (or Derketo under Set), or may be affiliates such as mercenaries.

We have many backgrounds, from slavery to the Priesthood to the aristocracy. But we all have come together now with a goal of preparing the world for the chaos to come, and saving those who would rise with us as the fangs of Set. Devotees share a blazing fire in their souls that drives them to raise their sights above common human endeavour and become golden icons of Set's power here in Hyboria. We believe Set's domain should not be limited to Stygia. His power must be made evident to all, so that he will deign to save us when the time comes.

We have members at many different levels. We are quite warm and friendly, and we call ourselves a family. Characters separated from family or looking for friends seem especially drawn to the guild. But such a background is not required.

We have built our Tier 3 Keep, Weaponsmith and Alchemy Tower and the rest of the buildings are fully Tier 2. Also the walls, towers and gates are fully up (tier 1/2).

We are open to many different sorts of players, who want to experience the game in different ways; the only requirement is to do it in character and be loyal to the guild in the path that you follow.

To apply send Sakh-met a msg here, or send a Tell to Sakhmetet, Leasbeth, Neshmet, or Rebekha in-game. A member will meet with you to discuss the guild IC.

In-Game Chat Guildlines

As there has been some querying regarding this, I'll make the guidelines more clear. When not speaking in the "default" mode below then please preface what you're saying with IC/OOC (upper or lower case) or "((" as appropriate. The Say chat guideline is most important to this guild.

"Say" Chat : Always In Character, except occasional ((typo correction or ((brb/afk if absolutely required.
"Tell"s : Default is In Character
"Guild" chat : Out of Character
"Group" chat : up to a vote by the group.
