Week of Unification

Asmodae has been preparing for this for nearly a full cycle of the moon-phase; the Week of Unification marked the anniversary of the final stone of Pandaemonium placed in the city - a great achievement for a people who carved their existence out of cold and darkness of the planet. The celebration brought forth the pride and determination of its people to survive at all costs; the Asmodian people who no longer even remotely identified with the Elyosian.
Bright banners and pennants decorated the city of Pandaemonium, and Asmodians from every corner of their dark, shattered world came forth into the capital and flourished there -as long as they were also strong. For, as decreed by the rulers and Lords of Pandaemonium, city merchants would bestow food and textiles to any who were willing to challenge one another to a duel. The winner received food and drink, weapons and armour, furs and fine cloth as they chose, and the loser earned nothing at all; thus came the proverb "in Unification, only the strong have bellies"....

(OOC - Just a reminder, we will be starting our first Naphalim thread next week, so if everyone could get their prospective profiles up this weekend, that would be most welcome. Don't worry about getting them exact - we are creating characters for a game which hasn't even been released yet! Expect there to be a lot of expansion and shifting about time goes on.
