A few notes

Posted by CaerRaven on 06-Feb-09 09:01pm

Just to let everyone know that there are items in the guild bank for everyone. Please feel free to help yourselves as a lot have put in but not much is being taken out, we hate to see good items to go to waste. Please feel free to pull items out for your lower levels alts as it makes more room for us while we save for our third guild bank tab.

Also! We are openly recruiting. Right now we're looking for just about any class and race available as we all know we're in need of more healers, tankers and DPS'ers.  Feel free to openly advertise for our guild and point them out to this websites direction. We would prefer that new recruits have at least one alt to be around the 70ish area as we're trying to progress. We CAN help with grinding lower levels alts, but we'd like to see some higher levels up as well.

Have a good day!

Posted by CaerRaven on 30-Jan-09 01:36am

Congratulations are in order to Vohumanah for achieving Legionnaire status!

Everyone please congratulate him and be sure to be on the look out for fresh blood. If you think someone would fit in well with our guild please contact a Legionnaire and give us their name so we can contact them. If you're already a Legionnaire feel free to add them to the guild with the notification that they are under a 2 week probation period, you may also direct them to this website.

Again, congratulations Vohumanah!

Guild rules and guidelines

Guild Charter

Membership Guidelines and Bylaws:

A guild is a like-minded group of players coming together for the purpose of having a good time. For some, that good time is only achieved by mastery of the game and the domination of other players as well as the environment. Others are just looking for the modern equivalent of the corner bar. But the point is ultimately to enjoy yourself, and help the other members have as much fun as possible.

As a member of this guild, we ask that you do the following. If you do not think you can hold to these guidelines, please do not accept the terms and go your way in peace. If, after joining you feel that other members are not following these guidelines, please contact the guild leader.

1. Don't be a jerk to the other members. There's no reason to be rude or obnoxious. This also extends outside of the guild as well, we try to maintain an image and just because we're on a PVP server doesn't mean we need to treat our fellow Horde people badly either.

2. When events are scheduled, show up fifteen minutes early. If you can't attend an event, please let the guild leader know as far in advance as possible.

3. Assistancce is always provided to those who need it. However, we do not want freeloaders. If you're here just for the loot, then this is not the guild for you. Our goal is to have fun and relax, not obtain all the epic gear that possibly exists. While we are currently in the process of getting end game equipment and items, it is not our main goal.

4. Language is to be kept to a minimum. Occassional swear words are acceptable, but we'll not be impressed by how many times you can use the f-word. We all slip ocassionally, but lets keep it down.

5. IRL before game. That's our motto. If you have a commitment to life then we expect you to uphold that. Most of us have kids and spouses so there will be times where one of us will need to emergency AFK, we completely understand. Spouse aggro and kid mobs are a part of life.

6. Sense of humor is a must. We're a chatty and relaxed bunch, we're not here to out compete one another and those who have extreme competitive ideals need not apply. We enjoy competition and challenges, we don't live for them. Our ideas of fun is to do instances, grind and chat. Not see how many alliance we can gank (though we admit it's fun to smack a few down from time to time).

7. Religious, political and sexual orientation discussion is something we tend to avoid. We're here to have fun, not debate personal philosophies. If you wish to have discussions please take it to groups or private messages.

8. Harassment of ANY form will not be tolorated. If you feel you're being harassed for any reason, please speak with one of the officers or submit a ticket with Blizzard.

9. Have fun, that's all we want to do. If at any time you're not having fun or something is bothering you please let the guild leader Shalahni know. She'll be more than happy to help out.

10. PVP is yours to do with as you will. We're not fond of body camping, but if you want to sit and camp we won't help you. We will however come to your aide if you're being camped.

Charter and rules may be revised or redone as seen fit. If you feel any of these rules are unfair or biased, please leave a message.

Welcome part deux

Posted by CaerRaven on 26-Jan-09 07:01pm

Hello and welcome. This is a more personal message than the one that was typed for us by GamerDNA.

I'm Stormswift on WoW in the guild of Legionnaires of Thrall. Our guild leader is Shalahni. She's the one in charge, I'm just the one who set up the guild site.

Please read over our charter and feel free to look around and make yourselves feel at home. If you've reached this site, you have obviously been given an in-game email pointing you in this direction. Yes you have to sign up, no we can't read your personal information. Just what GamerDNA sets out for us to read.

Right now things are very new and very much in the beginning stages. As the guild progresses so will the page. Right now we're down to the bare bone basics as I spend the time figuring out all the new and nifty features as well as waiting to see how many sign up. You're of course welcome to add input and insight to the page as we'd like to see some creative juices flowing, stories, images, drawings and all that are welcome in the forum section.

With that said: FOR THE HORDE!
