Wrath - How it's effecting these runs.
Posted by Masura on 15-Nov-08 10:22pm
With the expansion out, our raid attendance has taken a hit (which was expected). So, I'm going to make a change to how I organize these runs. I want 25-30 people that can commit to running Friday nights (and possibly Sat too). I want to try and keep the same people each run which will speed up the runs for several reasons. There is no reason why we can't clear BT in a day and also down several bosses in Sunwell (and soon full clears). Also, this will increase the chances that people will get more items they want since it's the same people each run. (hopefully once we get enough 80's, we can use this same source of people to fill new end game content raids).
If you are interested in being part of this, please let me know in game. I will manage a roster in game for these runs and will have standby's listed if we have more than 25. We will be using the in-game calendar for ease of use. Also, you can always look at the in game calendar via the website for the WOW armory. Just Log in , armory yourself, then click on the Calendar tab (you'll be asked to log in with your account info).
If you have any questions regarding this, please let me know.
Note: From time to time, I'll still host pure PUG runs and use the in game chat channel "houseofpug" to gather people. If you have an request for a PUG run, I'll do my best to organize something for you (just let me know).

Attendance
Posted by Masura on 04-Nov-08 10:18am
If you sign up for a raid, please be on the toon you signed up as at the start time of the raid (or prior). If the raid time starts and I don't see you, I will be looking for a replacement. If you signed up and haven't received an invite, please whisper me. There is too much going on for me to track people down.
Please note: We had over 30 people signed up for Monday's raid. There are still a few people that are having a hard time connecting to this site, but they have contacted me prior to each event and have received an in-game invite via the calendar. All approved attendees will receive an invite via the in-game calendar. Please make sure you sign up early to any event you want to attend so that your spot is reserved.

Time on the site
Posted by Masura on 19-Oct-08 10:33pm
I've already had some comments about raid times and just the time in general within the site. Almost all raid times will be 8 PM server time. Also, please make sure you change your settings to have the correct Time Zone. The site automatically converts event times to your local time based on those settings.
Thanks.

Welcome!
Posted by Masura on 19-Oct-08 03:48am
Welcome to House of PuG!
The House of PuG is a guild on the Scarlet Crusade server with the sole purpose of allowing any geared alliance character to sign up for PuG raiding with us. Your raiding character does not need to be a member of the guild in game, just a member of the website in order to sign up for events. Until Wrath comes out, we will be focusing on Hyjal, Black Temple, and Sunwell. There might also be some vial runs (TK and SSC) depending on the interest. After Wrath, we'll work on new instances as we level, and occasionally visit some of the old BC end-game content.
These raids are meant to be fun and allow people to experience some of the raids their guilds might not be working on. Greed and rudeness to other raiders will not be tolerated.
Loot rules for all runs: - All loot questions should be addressed with the raid leader via whispers. - Don't be greedy. Allow others to get items if you already won something. - All epic gear will be rolled on. Main spec gets priority. - Loot threshhold will be set to rare at all times. If you can loot something, loot it. - Rare (blue) quality items will be distributed by the raid leader using /roll 1-25 - Epic Gems, Sunmotes, and Hearts of Darkness will be looted by the raid leader and sent to the House of PuG's guild back for raid purposes. - Patterns can be rolled on by anyone who can learn the item during the raid. - BoE patterns unable to be learned during the raid will be banked.
* Note: All raiders are welcome to join the House of PuG with an alt in order to view the guild bank. You will be given view access only. Any request from the guild bank should be sent to Masura or posted in the Guild Bank Request forum.
