INTRODUCTION

As elite forces gather in the north and prepare to assault the Lich King upon his throne in Icecrown Citadel, ten lesser heroes emerge in Azeroth to the rumblings that something more sinister is going to emerge upon the world.

Welcome to the beginning of Force Ten, an extremely small guild.

CONCEPT

Force Ten's mission is to form a 10-member brigade composed of one of each of the 10 classes found in World of Warcraft. Those ten characters will comprise the guild's core. While others may join, the guild will be limited to a maximum membership of 30 characters.

Ideally, the 30 characters will be three from each of the 10 classes in the game. However, that goal is rather lofty and could be more of a hinderance in the long run. Definitely should have at least two of each class, and that will prove difficult enough.

Members should not have more than one character in this guild. That is to encourage experiencing more interaction with other guilds and, hopefully, to establish connections and rapport between other guilds and Force Ten.

There is currently no level restriction and assisting others in leveling is encouraged and strongly supported in this guild so long as it does not become a hinderance.

My thoughts are that the personality of Force Ten members would tend to be more toward the solo playing experience since any events we have would occur not more than once per week. This is not a progression or grindfest guild. It likely will be extremely slow in development. My hope is that as things in the guild become more established, we will focus on seeing all the content the game has to offer.

Guild events, such as instance runs or raids, will not occur more than once a week.

ABOUT ME

A little about me, your leader — Maidens of the Dawn, a guild which has been around on Bronzebeard for more than five years, was my concept. Two of my characters, Rebekka (80, warlock) and Opaldream (80, priest), remain in that guild. My main character is my paladin, Becky (80), who is a member of the guild Raid Zone which I joined to experience more raiding opportunities. I also co-founded the guild The Kindred with my two brothers. Within a month, that guild grew to more than 300 members. However, managing it became too time-consuming and generally was not fun. My character Rolind (32, warrior) remains in that guild as some members wanted to remain in it.

While I grew tired of handling the affairs of The Kindred, there remains for me an element of interest in managing a guild. Force Ten represents the point I have come to see after running the other guilds, aiming to build a small group of regular but not fanatical players and assist them to see everything we possibly can within the game without the stress that goes along with being in some larger guilds.

Players will come and go, but Force Ten will remain. I look forward to working with everyone in this new guild.

Current core is comprised of:
1. Rogue - Dozzy (leader)
2. Warrior -
3. Paladin -
4. Mage -
5. Priest -
6. Death Knight -
7. Shaman - Rascall
8. Druid - Lymandria
9. Hunter - Dingwoot
10 Warlock -

GOALS:
1. Build and establish Core group.
2. Discussions to determine second objective — whether it be to work toward maximum level, or twink-out for some PvP are two possibilities.
3. Gear Core.
4. Schedule events: Raids/Dungeons/Various on either Saturdays or Mondays, depending on what suits everyone best.
