Guild Chat

It is time and again brought to my attention that some members like to use guild chat as a Spamming device for non-sense, Although, sometimes a little witty banter or a minor disagreement is not really out of place in Guild Chat. The repeated use of profanity or negative comments regarding women, races, or sexual orientation is completely out of place, We have an open guild ( at the present ) and that means a lot of younger members. Wether your position is " they have the curse filter " or " they already know about these words " It doesn't matter, Because My position is that "We will not tolorate excessive bad language and behavior in guild chat." Particularly if someone is asking or complaining that the offensive chat stops, ( wether a Recruit or Officer ) it is just common decently to take your chat or argument to a more private chat location. A single use of a word is not in my opinion a reason for a kick, but i will not loose a tear if a memebr is repeatedly abusive or having to be asked more then once to restrain themselves. Officers + have the ability to "Demote" and "Kick" so if you feel someone is not being appropriate in guild chat, Advise your Officers and the will handle it ( My full support is behind the Officers. So if you disagree with their actions, you better have a full arsenal of screen shots and witnesses to get me to reverse their decisions ) Thank you. ( hoping this doesn't come up to much ) .
