10th GhostLeague Match: EASY WIN
Posted by ThEcLoWn on 04-Dec-09 04:24pm Last Sunday we got a fun match against the portuguese guys of PSF. I was surprised to see they could gather up to 5 that day. We were 3 at the time and aussie came to play his first game in the GL league and choud came at last.The match was probably the fastest match I ever played in the GL Tournament so far. Most of the maps were done at 1:30-2:00mins. We were facing a very unexperienced opponent when it comes to matching so we didnt have any problems. They were good sports as well.

9th GhostLeague Match: FAST VICTORY
Posted by ThEcLoWn on 22-Nov-09 08:03pm We got ourselfs a nice match against the italian guys of TANATOS. drax couldnt play cuz we has about to throw up so we got ourselfs a freelancer with macPROT3CTS a.k.a Shax-Fu and did this fun 5v5.Nothing to say much about the match. Thought we gonna get camped like Fire's battle but they picked some maps that were really available for any team. The rest of the maps and the random ones were basically ownage for us except the last one. I was having a very weird feeling thinking:"are this the guys who defeated Fire 6-3?", cuz they weren't showing anything throughout the whole match. So all in all it was a relatively easy battle with a surprising defeat in Castle Day (wtf guys...), but the rest was just really fast map pace. 5 out of the 9 maps were done in less than 2 mins, so yea it was fast. I dont think they were expecting or are used to this type of rush. Classical european team more used to tactics than skills dont have real answers in front of a fast rushing team and I think that's what we showed there.

8th GhostLeague Match: WE-GOT-OWNED-DASIT
Posted by ThEcLoWn on 15-Nov-09 11:09pm We got a difficult match against the finnish guys from =Fire= in which we couldnt basically do anything with the closed block =Fire= was putting in today. We started with a 5 man - lineup: ben, drax, sniper, choud and me, and after 3 maps I just quitted with that match. Got sicked of the maps and Slammer filled my spot cuz I was basically doing nothing.From what I played the match started and kept going the same way. We were trying to push it at first and then we got caught on =Fire='s range. From what I heard it didnt change that much but they were some tight maps. I guess now it seems obvious we need the practice, this gameplay is for strats dasit.

7th GhostLeague Match: TOTAL OWNAGE
Posted by ThEcLoWn on 14-Nov-09 06:46pmWe just had one of those perfect matches against the russian guys of FRWL. After playing 4 maps as 3v3, Slammer came in and FRWL decided to use a =VEGA=Li as a freelancer.
There's not much to say at this point about the match except that it was total assault mode and ownage everywhere. Except from Wilderness in which I won a 1v1 to win the map, I dont recall another map in which we had some kind of problems. The match was just perfect.

6th GhostLeague Match: OWNAGE
Posted by ThEcLoWn on 14-Nov-09 06:21pmWe had a big match last week against the french guys from GSA. After some delay mainly because of me, we ended up having a great 6v6 against in Vega Server. It was cool cuz everybody that was on comms had a chance to play at the same time, and we also proved that not just because we are used to small matches means that we cant play & own in big matches.
There's not much to say about this match except we had strong and fast wins in 7 out of the 9 maps we played. We basically went rampage mode and attacked them directly going for the kills more than the objectives and our assault worked really good. We rushed them and got us 7-0 in the blink of an eye. After that it was just fun and drax tking so we couldnt get the 9-0, nice bud.
