The meaning of Valor

Members have been asking lately what Valor stands for:
Valor - 1) Strength of mind in regard to danger; that quality which enables a man to encounter extraordinary danger with firmness; personal bravery; courage; prowess; intrepidity. 2) Courage in the defense of a Noble cause.
Note: A civilian version of this medal is also awarded to the Public for acts of Valor as stated above.
Medal Of Valor & sometimes is referred to as the "Congressional Medal of Honor" because the president awards it on behalf of the Congress.
