Welcome to the website of the Scottish Recon Force, a clan playing the games America's Army 2 and 3.

Whether you know us from our servers or not is not really relevant. Every application to become a member of our clan is taken into consideration and will be taken seriously. We however will check the history of all people who apply for a place in our ranks and will grant or deny membership based on the results of this check.

Requirements

Before you may apply for membership to our clan you need to fit certain criteria.

The standard requirements to apply for membership are:

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must have an honor level of 25 or higher.
• You must have done all training in America's Army.
• You must have TeamSpeak or are willing to install it.
• You must agree to a TeamSpeak interview with one of our Recruitment Officers.
  
• You must be a reasonably active player. You play at least 2 times a week.
  
• You must be able to speak English.
• You must have a social attitude towards other players.
• You must have a mature and serious attitude while playing.

The way to SRF

After your application to become a member of our clan has been approved you will go through three stages before you may call yourself an SRF member.

The three stages you go through before you may call yourself a SRF member are:

1. Prospect. People who applied for membership to the Scottish Recon Force and had a satisfactory voice interview on TeamSpeak with one of our Recruitment Officers are known as prospects. Because they still have to prove themselves to some extent prospects undergo a trial period of two weeks. These two weeks allow us to see how they play and behave. Prospects however may not use our clan tag! If the two week trial period turns out satisfactory prospects will transfer to the next stage.
2. Clan Applicant. Clan Applicants receive limited access to our private forums (read-only), but they may not use our clan tag. They'll be invited to attend several training sessions and group events. If that turns out good Clan Applicants transfer to the third and final stage.
3. Clan Member. After Clan Applicants become Clan Members they may call themselves SRF member. They are enlisted to our ranks as Privates, are scheduled for Basic Training and get full access to our site and some of its more advanced features. They are also expected to change their name according to our clan standards.
