Major Guild Event

Update-- I would not be able to attend the keep raid today, because I have this house warming gathering to go to. But please continue this event.---

Sunday, October 26th 2008, is the day we will do some major RVR and attempt to take on a keep. We were discussing about this for awhile on vent and we all think it will be great to take a keep for order tomorrow. Then once we reach guild rank 14 we can start claiming keeps for the guild. But it is so expensive lol. I also noticed every Sunday is when a lot of instance parties and keep raids are happening within in the guild. Perhaps sunday is officially the guild day lol

Guild Taxes

Some of you may know taxes were set yesterday. I guess after the patches they fixed the tax system and made it alot more understandable and easier to what percentage you put it in. Before 2% tax means if you get 30 brass coins, 7 goes to the vault which was good. Now if you get 30 brass coins with a 2% tax rate, 1 coin goes to the vault. It will stay 2% for the week, and I'll see what the progress is like, cause if we are going to own keeps, we need a solid and negotiable tax system cause that cost gold. So here is how it will go. it's 2% right now, on sunday I'll look at the progress if its good it stays, if it sucks im increasing it to 5 or 7%. But it's a maybe though. If you want keeps, and getting nice stuff for the guild, then the little raise is must.. If 2% doesn't work out.

Guild Alliance

So I just spoke with the VP of "War-torn" they are a social guild just like us that like to have fun and would like too start an alliance with our guild to do keeps and do rvr and scenarios and whatever else.

Me and flyingsnow teamed up to tackle a hero in ellyrion we thought it will be a cake fight, however... The Hero enemy flexed its muscles and skinned our lions fur to make a coat and then proceeded to rip our heads off. From the defeat we figured, enough is enough and made a shout to form a party. That is how we met the VP of war-torn and a few other members. During this time we started talking about guild stuff and ranks in the server and figured being an alliance would be cool. I told him that we are a gay friendly guild if that isnt a problem and him and his party had no problem with it. So we decided to go on vent  and talk about a possible alliance

They have over 70 members
They are a social guild
what they want to achieve through the alliance is team up for keeps and scenarios between the two guilds and basically have fun.

we basically went over the rules our guilds have and also our tolerence of certain things. I said I can't make a decision now, but by monday I would tell you if we are ready for an alliance. He also said the same thing cause he has to run it by with the leader first as well. I will be talking about this with the VP starveil and Jesse when I get the chance. But first I would like to know this?

Do you feel comfortable with an alliance? do you like the idea? Are you okay with teaming up with a guild that isnt a gay guild?
