Padre Pirates

The success of a large, happy and working leaderboard guild draws attention, from all angles, we have many freinds and many allied guilds, yet we also had the odd guild that wanted to take our crown and disrupted our pirates or challenged us as a guild in unfair ways.

In february I chose to split the guild into four, same people, same bond, same loyalty, same skill. We now have four leaderboard guilds, some of us specialising in sailing and boss battles and some in skilling and PVP. We maintain our bond continually while retaining individuality and a threat free enviroment.

The Four linked guilds of Padre Pirates worked so well it became the template for the Guild Alliance which includes other guilds who are a larger well networked group of friends, we pool our resources and knowledge and strive to keep a cool, threat free enviroment amidst the ever presant threat from mean pirates and nasty guilds .

'' There are those who feel that to have a successful guild you must have hundreds of members, and those who feel success is due to skill level.
But it is my opinion that a little of everything applies, but none of it means anything at all without co operation, harmony and most importantly fun!
A successful guild is never about the individuals 'power' it is about the strong leadership and a strong bond. ''

The original and well repsected first guild of the four. A leaderboard guild.

All pirates must be DXD'd.

Padre Pirates entrance test

As we are a leaderboard sailing guild all pirates must show a willingness to sail whilst being part of team crew and guild in loyalty.
The test:
1. Sail from Port Royal to Padre and Kingshead in a light sloop, with full crew and cargo intact.
2. Prove loyatly in a guild skilling excercise, by using their best weopan to keep the group healer alive whilst advancing in skill with their chosen weopan.

Sinking or dying doesnt equate to failure, the pirate will be observed on the test as a whole.

Guild Ethos
There are no 'Me's' in the guild, we do for each other and we help when we can. We observe the four linked guilds of Padre Pirates and respect the ethos and members of the Guild Alliance.
Guild Rules
Never take the wheel of some one elses ship without being asked.
Guild courtesy
Always say 'Hello' when you sign on.
Where possible join or create a guild crew for extra rep points, this doesnt mean that you have to pirate with each other as you may have your own thing to get on with.
Keep crew list open so that you can observe your crewmates health and assist where possible.
Include guild in your own quest activities when you can it keeps us all networked and is a great resource at your disposal.
