AnnouncementsThree Strikes SystemPosted by Lash on 21-Jan-08 05:20am As an extention of the new rules system, I am going to bring in a system of "Three Strikes & You're Demoted". Strikes are obtained through minor offences performed either to other guildies or in the public spotlight (i.e. Trade Channel and Others) and these demotions can reach as far as Exile if they need to.The type of incidents that can result in a strike against your name is going to be generalised at the start, although if someone decides to mention things like "that is not a strike offence, it doesn't say so on the website" it will become more and more strict. Remember this list will change as the guild evolves and our demographics expands. Also note that a incident if deemed bad enough can result in more than one strike being recorded. Striking Offences

If using a PC, the typical default install path is: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft If using a Macintosh, the typical default install path is: Macintosh Main HD (or whatever you renamed it to, if you did)/Applications/World of Warcraft 4. In the WoW folder, create a new folder called Interface (if it doesn’t already exist) 5. Open that folder, create another one inside it, called AddOns (again, if it doesn’t already exist) 6. Open the AddOns folder 7. Copy the files from the folder on your desktop into the AddOns folder 8. Your final path should look like: PC: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\< ModAFolderName >\< files > C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\< ModBFolderName >\< files > C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\< ModCFolderName >\< files > Mac: Macintosh HD/Applications/World of Warcraft/Interface/Addons/< ModAFolderName >/< files > Macintosh HD/Applications/World of Warcraft/Interface/Addons/< ModBFolderName >/< files > Macintosh HD/Applications/World of Warcraft/Interface/Addons/ < ModCFolderNaem >/< files > (where < ModAFolder > < .B. > < .C. > are the names of the actual folders that the mods create) 9. Log into game. At the character select screen, there should be an "AddOns" button in the lower left corner. Click on that. If any of the mods in the list that pops up say "out of date" or some such, choose the "Load Outdated AddOns" option. 10. Log the rest of the way into game, you should be up and running now. Guild HelpPosted by Lash on 09-Jan-08 08:44am Hey guys, I came across a time tonight when everyone wanted to do deathholme. I'd like to suggest a mod I've been testing for stability (hasn't seemed to cause problems) called guild help. Because no-one is using it at the moment I can't really say how useful it is, but hey if u guys who don't mind running mods can try it it'd be great.Guild Help can be gotten at: http://wowui.incgamers.com/?p=mod&m=4842 Read More | Comments: 2 Starting Rules. Early "Draft"Posted by Lash on 06-Jan-08 01:50am Guild CharterMembership Guidelines and Bylaws: A guild is a like-minded group of players coming together for the purpose of having a good time. For some, that good time is only achieved by mastery of the game and the domination of other players as well as the environment. Others are just looking for the modern equivalent of the corner bar. But the point is ultimately to enjoy yourself, and help the other members have as much fun as possible. As a member of this guild, we ask that you do the following. If you do not think you can hold to these guidelines, please do not accept the terms and go your way in peace. If, after joining you feel that other members are not following these guidelines, please contact the guild leader. 1. Remember this is a game, we are all here to have FUN. Don't be a jerk to the other members, We are here to have fun. we don't mind, in fact, we encourage some light hearted banter. If it becomes offensive, please contact one of the ranked officials and we will arrange a way to discuss this further without alienation of anybody. 2. When events are scheduled, show up fifteen minutes early. If you can't attend an event, please let the guild leader know as far in advance as possible. 3. We do promote the usage of some addons, this is not compulsory, but it will assist in some aspects of gameplay. Please see the Addons section of the forums for addons that others are using and/or suggesting 4. These rules are open for amendment, any major amendments will posted to this site and are open for discussion. Please see the Rules forum fo a comprehensive log of any changes and or discussion regarding such things. Read More | Comments: 0 Forum List
