Do to the guild being too populated, we have formed a new division for our guild. HORDECORE II is our new division that will handle new members under 40. All new recruits will be as follows:

HORDECORE II members that have reached to 40 can be transferred to HORDECORE or remain the same by members choice.
Thank you and remember to level up your real life too.

Guild member Spring Cleanup

Posted by tonete on 07-Feb-08 07:55pm

I'm sure you all know that this moment will eventually come. We have grown so fast as a guild that the Guild roster or headcount with Blizzard Entertainment that i have found out personally 500 members is the max Blizzard will keep headcount. Any thing after that will not be registered on the social guildtab. I came to realization when Deathorhate mentioned to me that i am not on the currently online and my toon Slapa is not on the guild! What?!!! The guildmaster got booted out of his own guild?!! That cant be!! lol. So i dug further and scouted a new member.. invited him to join the guild.. he joined .. level 65... by the way.. and what do you know.. still 500 members. So i decided to remove a member and still 500 members, so i removed about 12 members, still 500 members! lol That means we well over 500 members in our guild and not even sure how many total to be exact. So to resolve this issue and to add me back on the "currently online status" we are doing a guild Spring Cleaning on February 15th, 2008. This is what you need to do to make sure your alts are not going to be deleted from the guild:
1. Click on "social" button (exclaimation point icon)or press letter "O" on your keyboard.
2.Click on the "Guild" tab and on the top of the page you should see a button where u can "Show offline member", check that. Scroll through the rosters until you find all of yours or one of yours then click on your toon name and highlight it with your mouse.
3.At this point there should be a small window opened after you highlighted your toon on the roster. The window will include your toons detail information as well as two sections: 1. Notes 2. Officer Notes.
4.Input your main characters name on the Notes not officer Notes. Again on "Notes" for example: Slapa's Alt.
Thats it!! Now your alt will not be deleted!! YAY!!

Chain of Command

Posted by tonete on 02-Feb-08 02:32am

This forum was created to solve issues that arise on a daily basis. Due to the guild's rapid growing pace and new problems and issues that arise daily, I personally cannot manage and facilitate on occurances that happens on a daily basis when I am logged off; not unless you have my personal mobile number. Dont even try to ask what my personal cell number is too. LOL. Previously, things that have not been solved by members to members have always been on hold until i login and then the problems are solved. But with members currently over 440, there's always going to be drama. So I have implemented the following Chain of Command to solve the issue 24/7.
Chain of Command as Follow:
1. GUILDMASTER Slapa: Final Decisions that cannot be handled Officers or RAID WarChief then it will be finalized by myself.
2. RAID WarChief: They have the final "decision making previlege" on my behalf due to them having shown the guild their experience at endgames and experience as past guildmasters from previous and my assessment of their personality being calm and have good judgement for the best interest of the guild. I personally feel confident in their final decision when I am logged off.
3.Officers: All issues and concerns that arise on a daily basis should be reported to your fellow Officer you feel comfortable with and that is currently online at the time. They will bring your concern to management and will be reviewed accordlingly.
Thanks for your support and representing HORDECORE.

Looting Need vs. Greed

Posted by tonete on 17-Jan-08 08:18pm

Many complaints from other members have brought this into an announcement. Apparently there has been quite a few incidents where the members would group together to quest and/or do instances as a repore to build friendship and understanding one another as a group of guildys and turns out to be a big disaster due to one of the guildy looting "need" instead of "greed" and everyone or an individual from the group disagrees with his/her choice of action, and turns into a big arguement and disagreements, therefore sometimes leading to booting them out of the guild, the individual themselves quits the guild or just plain argue with each other for an hour or more til one leaves the group. I have gotten complaints from ex-guildys after the fact that they left the guild of the problem, and the reason why they left the guild is because of members not being fair and courteous to one another. We as HORDECORE should understand one another and be courteous, calm, understanding and respectful to one another and at the same time" Dont take the Game too seriously" by booting the individual out of the guild without giving them some lieniency and time to understand how the process works. Even if it turns out to be a disagreement, be the bigger person to step back and just let me or all the officers know as a group to be aware and maybe give us a chance to explain that individual on how it works. So Lets try to clarify things a bit and make the record straight on when/why it is ok or proper for an individual to "need" an item vs. "greed". A forum has been established to start the conversation and a rule for the process of "Need vs. Greed" will be established within one week of opening a forum of discussion. Let the debate begin!

Joke of the Day!

>> Old Fart Football

An old married couple no sooner hit the pillows
When the old man passes gas and says, "Seven Points."
His wife rolls over and says, "What in the world was that?"
The old man replied, "It's fart football.."
A few minutes later his wife lets one go and says "Touchdown, tie score."

After about five minutes the old man lets another one go and
says, "Aha. I'm ahead 14 to 7."
Not to be outdone the wife rips out another one and says,
"Touchdown, tie score."
>>
Five seconds go by and she lets out a little squeaker and
says, "Field goal, I lead 17 to 14."
Now the pressure is on the old man.
He refuses to get beaten by a woman, so he strains real hard.
Since defeat is totally unacceptable, he gives it everything he's got,
And accidentally shits in the bed.
The wife asks, "what the hell was that?"
>> The old man says, "Half time, switch sides."

Welcome!

Posted by tonete on 01-Jan-08 08:32am

Welcome to HORDECORE!

We would like to make your stay in the Horde of HORDECORE a pleasant one. HORDECORE has been established since January 2006 with only the minimum members to get the guild started. The founder of the guild is by your fellow guildmember Tone Te, aka: Tonete, Slapabich, Runbich, Chokeaho, Shadowpriess, 911 and Gameover. His loyal sidekick that was there from the beginning was Edison Ochoa, his 7 year old son that was so intrigued watching him play when he was 6, that he allowed Edison to start playing by finding his corpse while Tone goes and grabs food, bathroom breaks and such. Well, Edison became so proficient finding Tone's corpse, he finally allowed his son to create his own toon called BabyEdison, an undead warrior. For almost a year they would quest together through the dangerous world of Azeroth that they thought would be impossible to prevail unless they recruit top notch soldiers across the Barrens and etc. So for almost a long year of battling Father & son and later on comes Mother of Babyedison, Cherrish aka Deathorhate, they all started scouting the earth for soldiers of their own starting around Late November 2007. The early pioneers of HORDECORE includes the following officers of the horde: Fobit / Chasun ; Garza / Questo / Cutwind & many more of his toons that we will not lists because he has like 13 of them; Blazetildust; LeGoat / Domegoat; Mamasitafria / Lacalientia; Zatarra; Ghostsoldier(the silent but deadly guildy); Malgreney; Masercur; Leiridan; Clone; Lemonparty; Spadge; Kodotai & Iansx (brother & Sister Combo); and last but not least Ryein, the Rogue Tone never manages to beat in a Duel. After the great combinations of top soldiers in the Guild of HORDECORE, many elites started joining by waves of new school leaders like Honawen; Blachdeath; Hitmanstfc; Hammerlock; Wannabehorde; Willprovok; Thoar and more to come. We have exactly 150 members as of todays post and still growing everyday.
We members from HORDECORE welcome you to our horde and wish you to stay awhile, brows and enjoy. Your next step as being part of us will be to invite your friends to sign up to our guild that you feel will value our horde as one, so we may take over the world we call Azeroth (galaxy Spirestone...lol). From everyone's leadership, teamwork, dedication and not to forget the most important thing of all, TO HAVE FUN in the game and outside, bring them along with your journey ahead that lies. You can apply for membership by CLICKING THE APPLY BUTTON ABOVE and thank your for your visit with HORDECORE.!
