Guild Rules
Posted by Grumbles on 17-Sep-08 04:27pm
Two guiding principles of Force Recon are respect and fun. All members should keep this in mind at all times. - The guild is for level 70 characters. We aim to enjoy endgame content in the context of a relaxed, friendly environment. First and foremost, any game should be about having fun, and we all look forward to many hours of great gaming together!
- Every member agrees to treat all other members—and all other players, be they in the guild or not—with respect. We understand that not everyone will always get along. If grievances should arise, we ask all our members to deal with them with maturity; address the party privately, being polite and specific. If you feel a member is behaving in a way that reflects poorly on the guild, please bring it to the attention of a guild officer. Dirty laundry does not get aired publicly. And please keep in mind that disagreements in game are disagreements about a game—people’s personal lives outside of Warcraft do not come into the picture.
- Every attempt will be made to schedule raids in advance and stick to the schedule. If you agree to show up, please do so and be on time. That being said, we realize that World of Warcraft is a game, and there are many things in life far more important that can come up unexpectedly. No member will be punished or berated for lack of attendance due to short term RL issues—just remember, the whole point of a guild is to create a social environment in which we have fun with each other! Respecting other members also means respecting their time.
- The lending of gold is discouraged; if individuals agree to do so, that is fine. Do not make blanket requests for money in guild chat, or randomly whisper guild mates asking for gold.
- Keep guild chat (and anything said in any public chat channel) clean. This doesn’t mean the occasional swear word is forbidden. But personal attacks, profanity for its own sake, and racist, sexist, homophobic, religiously intolerant, etc., comments are all out.
- Other guild members do not exist to be at your beck and call. However, members are expected to be helpful to one another. If you are having trouble finding help, please speak up; we want everyone to get what they want from this game. If you are here, you obviously have your eye on some endgame content; we want to make sure you reach that goal, and that means helping everyone to get the gear they need to make it possible.
- Because Force Recon is interested in the more difficult WoW content such as 25-man raids, the following add-ons are required:
The reason is not that we want to clutter your computers with more programs and add-ons; rather, as the game becomes more difficult, perhaps the paramount challenges we players are presented with are awareness, cooperation and communication. - Purchased or Paid-Power-leveled characters will not be accepted in Force Recon under any circumstances.
- Naked dancing is entirely optional, though often encouraged.

Welcome to Forcerecon!
This is a fun guild with some really skilled cats. We plan to bump our guild ranking up and continue to push into new End-Game content. First things first we need to get Kara on farm status-move onto Gruuls and ZA!
Work those Heroics to get your gear and if you need help dont hesitate to ask an officer.
Welcome Aboard and good hunting!
