New Rank Contest

I am starting a contest that is to implement a new rank in our guild. As you all know, we are growing quite rapidly. And we have some very good guildmates in our growing guild. This rank is going to be for the level 25 million, so, if you want to participate, please do so. Here are the rules:

1) All entries are to be in BEFORE we reach this rank in the guild.
2) All entries are to be in this format "Fallen .......... of .............. 25 Mil"
3) You may enter as many entries as you wish before the end date.
4) All entries are to be entered here in the forums for safe keeping.
5) All decisions are final. To be determined by Myself, DK, and Mythas.
6) The winner will receive 3 FSP's.
7) Good Luck.

What this is for:

This forum is for any official Fallen Legions managerial issues that come up that we do not wish to discuss publicly, or wish to discuss privately before we discuss them publicly. Since there is not a way to send a message to a group or groups of people in FS itself without sending it to everyone, I thought this would be the easiest method to handle this task.

Please only post in this thread if you have an idea or a question, etc that you wish to run by other officers before presenting it to the guild as a whole. Thank you.

Leadership Notice!!!

As some of you know, Alarond's real - life Wife is pregnant and the due date is fast approaching. So until further notice, I will be assuming the role of Guild Founder, though I will retain my current rank. If there is an issue, please bring it to me, and I will do my best to solve it. Note that Alarond is NOT leaving, he WILL BE returning at some point (and checking in from time to time as well). That is why I am leaving him as the Guild Founder. That, and he did found it. Thank you. Please do not bother Al with guild issues during this time. Let us do all we can to show support to our esteemed leader and wish him all the best with his wife and new baby that is coming soon!

Guild Equipment

I like my equipment. I take pride in having the best gear for my level, and almost always having it Exe / Perf crafted and fully forged. Not only does it (in my opinion) look better, but it dramatically increases the stats of the items as well, making them much more useful. However, -and this is my opinion as well- the gear we have as a guild is crap. Take one look at the quality of items in the GS and you'll know right away what I mean. I won't speak for anyone else, but I know I don't like using guild items when I can get a lot better stuff on the AH for relatively cheap. Yesterday I got a full Hunters set Perf / mostly forged and paid at most 35 FSP / item, which is really cheap when they were going for 600+ before the last LE.

Al and I both feel, however (and forgive / correct me if I am putting words in your mouth..) that we put a ton of time and FSP into the guild as it is, and neither of us has the money or FSP (or the desire to spend that money / FSP) on the equipment we have because quite frankly we feel we get very little help from the rest of the guild as a whole. There are of course exceptions, as there are in anything, but by and large this is how I feel, and how Alarond has led me to believe he feels. And as a guild we are doing very well overall, thanks to your support.

So here's the deal. I'll be taking FSP donations as well from now on, and I will keep track of what I get and from whom. Any time I get enough to perform an upgrade - I'll start with crafting, 1 craft = 5 FSP and I can usually get Exe / Perf on the first try - I'll start working on upgrading what we have, starting with some of the most used items and then working my way up the levels. If there is a specific item you would like upgraded, message me and send the FSP to do so. I'll make room in my inventory and recall the item from you, upgrade it, and trade it back to you. I believe this will be fair to everybody, and if we all chip in we could have a lot of really good items in the guild rather than a lot of average, decent ones.

Welcome to Fallen Legions!

A few notes for the people of the Fallen Legions. You will be given a web address and a password if you are a current member so that you can join. When you go to that address you will have to register with guildcafe. However, you will need to go back to the original address that is given to you (if you didn't enter a password you did not join the guild). After that your founder will decide if an application process or the password system will be allowed for new members.

To set up your profile, click on "GamerDNA profile" at the top of your screen. Click on Character, then add a character. Choose "FALLEN SWORD" put your fallen sword name under character name. Then under your comments add the buffs that you have. Later you can go back and edit this to add your new buffs.

You can add an icon, and other things here as well.
