Tuesday in the ES

Well last night saw the addition of another raid, Onyxia has returned!
We ran two groups last night:
The first group ran at 7pm and took down Vault and Onyxia.
The second ran through ToCR (finished) and then Vault and attempted Onyxia.
ToCR Faction champs seemed easier as it was a one shot, official blue posts said it lowered the damage of the champions a bit and varied what spells and abilities they used. I believe it was easier. Well see again on the weekend when run those that didn't get to do it Tuesday.
Onyxia looks like a simple fight and I'm sure the second group will down it probably on the next try.
As usual if enough of you guys log on we'll attempt 25s, so show up!

Guild OX has us at number 1

In a strange twist of fate, we are now ranked number 1 on the server for 10 man Strict Progression.

Guild Ox has updated the criteria to be called a strict 10 man guild to :
"10-man strict rankings aim to exclude guilds that access any 25-man content that offers higher ilvl gear than what the current 10-man normal content provides."
What this means is that since 25 man collesium and 25 man Ulduar hard modes drop ilvl 245 gear they will remove qualification for 10 man strict ranking. Strangely enough the disqualification is triggered on kill achievements though, not actually having the gear that drops from theses instances.
So by actually not running those we're ranked higher. Yay... no really I'd rather we were running them but for now I guess we can celebrate.

Oh and recruit more people, looks like we need a hunter or two.

Sept 1 Two more bosses enter the ring

If everything I read is right it looks as if our Tuesday Nights will get a little more hectic with another boss added to each of VoA and ToCR.
Tankspot has a video from the PTR showing Anubrik'ad (SP) and if you watch the Youtube embed you will see afterward a video of the Flame Watcher from the PTR.
Both are interesting to view and the flamewatcher vid is a little more informative if you ask me. The tankspot vid has a written strat underneath though. So it's a toss up really which has more info.
Regardless, take a look at them before tonights raids.
We're still sticking with the two group format right now for Tuesdays so make sure you sign up.
Also good job on killing Yoggie yet again

Congrats to everyone who helped on ulduar this last raiding schedule, Yoggie went down last night for a guild first.

Argent Crusade

Hello everyone and welcome to week two of the Argent Crusade, Trial of the Crusader.
ES has had an impressive showing in week two, taking in two 10 man raids and killing both the North Rend Beasts and Jaraxxas in both forrays.
(last week we had two also but only managed to be successful in one of them). I'd really like to try the 25 man again, especially now that we know what these fights involve.
Uluduar resumed on Wed with the majority (I think) of the instance (along with a couple hard modes) getting done.
Last week we had amazing participation on Tuesday and Wednesday nights and owing to that participation we have scheduled 25 man raids for this week. However, the first two nights, Tues/Wed have shown a maximum of 18 people on of which only 16 were interested in doing a 25 man. We'll leave the 25's scheculed for this week, but next week we're back to 10 mans again.
Recruit more bodies!
