Guild Meeting 2-10-08

We still need folks to sign the code of conduct on the Proboards site if they have not done so already. The guild meeting is 2-10-08 a diversion from our usual first Sunday of the month in recognition of the Super Bowl.

Guild Meeting, 1-13-08

There will be changes to ranks, raid structure and many other announcements made at the up-coming guild meeting, Sunday, January13, 2008, at 8pm. We will begin forming up in front of Orgrimmar bank about 7:45pm and parade to Thrall's Chambers at 8pm for the meeting. If you have never participated you should know it is quite a site. People stop and stare as we form up and ask what we are doing, and if we are going on a real world pvp raid. As we march others often fall in to see where we are going. People will quit their guilds and ask for an invite at the amazing show of our solidarity....you really should see it.


One of which is a re-thinking of how we use the Officer ranks. We would like to eventually return to the use of them as class officers. In the meantime we will be establishing role officers: for example Tanking Classes, Healing Classes, etc. These individuals will be using the title of Witch Dr. The Tribal Elders will be reappointed to be close counselors to the guild leader. They will be given all the abilities that Blizzard allows me to give them in game. They should be honored and looked to for guidance the same as you do the guild leader.

Zortula's Internet

Hey all,

I just talked with Zortula, and she asked me to let you know what's up with her absence online. They moved, and they've had trouble getting their Internet service provider to get their service installed. One piece of hardware got sent to the wrong address, and now she needs to call and track down the second piece since it likely went to the wrong address as well.

She wanted me to tell you that she misses everyone, and she wants to be back online ASAP. Hopefully she will be back on by this weekend.

Kara Gear Checks

The larger group of gear inspection didn't quite turn out the way I hoped. I am going to look at choosing a committee of 3 or 4 committed to raid progression to assist me in looking at all the raiders. We will take notes on gear and check on progress from week to week. This is not to be mean or exclusive, but if an individual is not progressing we will meet with them and find out what the obstacles are. The only exception to this will be if upon review on the Armory we can honestly say there is no gear improvements for this individual until a future raid instance. Again this is not meant to be mean. It's just that if we are not all pulling together to improve our situation we are just spinning our wheels.

Let me conclude with saying that if at some point someone says..."this is just too much for me to worry about"...they can just take their name off of the raids. This is a game that offers a diverse experience and this is a guild that wants to include individuals with diverse interests. There should be no shame to anyone who choses not to engage in this one activity...if you feel that someone has treated you badly because you don't raid I want to know about it.
