Cloron OGRE is HERE!

This week beginning immediately maintainence....MajestiC will begin a week long effor to take down the Cloron Troll(Ogre). The ogre spawns in cl3 in the back of the hugh nightmare room. It drops 1-3 legends per kill and spawns every 12 hours.....

So. We look around 10a and 10p daily for troll and will call in GC for assistance.

In the coming 7 days we will contine to arrive twice daily to take this game boss. Please come if you are online at the time.

New Oblivion Insula times

The times that OI is open have changed this week, the new times are as follows (all are Pacific Standard Time - California, for reference):

         Monday          8am - 2pm
         Tuesday         8pm - 2am
         Wed              2pm - 8pm
         Thurs             8pm - 2am
         Friday             2pm - 8pm
         Saturday        8pm - 2am

Since we don't have enough high level players for doing the bosses, my idea is this.

      - Form a raid with 7 53+ (for starters, see if it works)

      - put out a call in GC for others to join, people drop their current party, and join the raid, it will only be for a few minutes.

      - the 7 enter OI, drop the raid, re-form as a party, and grind. for as long as they can.

      - the 'helpers' re-form their parties, and continue what they were doing, knowing that they have helped some of the higher levels, that have been helping them in the past.

the advantages to the farming team ... safe high level grinding spot, no competition for mobs, or areas, no darks to kill you, and level 6 lapis, and high level accessory (ring etc) drops.  Yes the bosses drop more frequently, but we will need a strong raid of 20+ to even begin trying the bosses.

Ok, after try #1 (thru 9, yes spent 4-5hrs there yesterday)

Grinding on the mobs is not much of an option, at least not untill the 3rd or 4th boss area... too hard... kill my 60 tank (15k hp, 900def) in 2-3 hits, and  can't seem to pull just 1.

Perhaps an archer or mage can pull just 1 with a single shot.

However, the boxes are do-able.. advantage - Tank.. untouchable, and you can empty the boxes even close to boss.
