Ranking System
The [51/5Ø] Clan ranking system:
[51/5Ø]|R| Recruit
New recruits mean new blood injected into the Clan, and as such they are an important part of the growth of any clan. Every player coming into the Clan will come in as a Recruit and wear the |R| tag during their probationary period, which will last approximately 15 days. During that time, we will evaluate them and see if they are indeed 51/50 material. We will always look for a good attitude and respectful behavior more than skill.
[51/5Ø]|T| Trainee
After the probationary period is over, new Recruits that have shown potential as members and are new to the game will receive a rank of Trainee. We will then work with them to help them improve movement, weapon usage, and overall strategy. Once Trainees start getting used to the way the game is played, they can move on to the next rank.
[51/5Ø]|A| Auxiliarius
The Auxiliarius was a soldier in the ancient Roman army mainly recruited from the free provincial subjects of the Roman Empire. Although it is our lowest actual rank, it is by no means unimportant. Players with the rank of Auxiliarius have demonstrated improvement with basic skills and the willingness to learn. At this rank players will be taught how to speed orb and grav nade and should start practicing these techniques as much as possible.
[51/5Ø]|L| Legionary
The Legionary was a professional soldier of the Roman army. The Roman soldier underwent especially rigorous training; discipline was the base of the army's success and the soldiers were relentlessly and constantly trained with weapons. As in the Roman army, our Legionary will also be constantly trained. A [51/5Ø] Legionary has begun to show responsibility, as well as skill with all weapons and tactics. Speed orbs and grav nades are now used more frequently and with better results.
[51/5Ø]|G| Gladiator
A Gladiator was an armed combatant who fought before audiences in the Roman Empire in violent confrontations against other gladiators. Cunning and deadly, Gladiators were known throughout the Empire for their prowess in one-on-one combat. A [51/5Ø] Gladiator has improved his skills to the point where he’s comfortable in a full server scenario. A Gladiator’s KPD for every session should be going up and the player should also be speed orbing, grav nading, and lag jumping with ease. The Clan Leaders will be looking at people holding this rank very closely. This is when things start getting interesting.
[51/5Ø]|P| Praetorian
The Praetorians were a force of bodyguards used for the personal protection of Roman generals. They were chosen as much for their skill in battle as for their loyalty. Just as in the ancient Roman army, in order to advance to the rank of Praetorian in The [51/5Ø] Clan, players need to show loyalty to the Clan and a certain skill level. A [51/5Ø] Praetorian is not only very effective at killing with grav nades and speed orbs, but also good at countering those techniques by moving well and grabbing nades and orbs with the grav gun and counterattacking with them. In addition to skill and leadership in the battlefield, Praetorians need also to have a certain level of participation on the web site.
[51/5Ø]|D| Decurion
A Decurion was a cavalry officer in command of a troop of thirty soldiers in the army of the Roman Empire. This is the first leadership rank in the [51/5Ø] Ranking System. A [51/5Ø] Decurion needs to display good leadership skills in and out of the battlefield, as well as a level of gaming skill that commands respect on and off our servers. The KPD of a Praetorian is usually positive even in a 1v2 situation or in an all-out, free-for-all battle with multiple players. The Decurion is deadly with grav nades and speed orbs, as well as proficient with movement techniques such as bunny hopping and strafe jumping. Killing a Decurion is not an easy task.
[51/5Ø]|C| Centurion
A Centurion was a professional officer of the Roman army commanding a century (centuria) of 100 men, but senior centurions commanded cohorts, or took senior staff roles in their legion. In The [51/5Ø] Clan, the jump from Decurion to Centurion is not an easy one. It will take much work and skill to be promoted to this rank. A Centurion is expected to be nearly unstoppable in 1-on-1 and even 1-on-2 battles, to have a high KPD regardless of the situation he’s faced with, and to be an expert in strategy on any map. Centurions also need to demonstrate a high level of leadership on and off the battlefield.
[51/5Ø]|H| Herculiani
In the ancient Roman army, the Herculiani were selected from the best of the best to serve as trusted members of the Imperial Guard. To be a Herculiani, senior soldiers needed to show unquestionable loyalty and unmatched fighting skills. The name comes from Hercules, the great hero of Roman and Greek legend. In The [51/5Ø] Clan, Herculiani is our highest skill rank. Players that have reached this rank are nearly unbeatable and can without a doubt be called the best of the best.
[51/5Ø]|I| Imperator (Clan Leaders)
In ancient Roman times, the Imperator was the emperor. There was no greater authority in the Roman Empire. The Imperator’s right and duty was to rule and protect the empire. In The [51/5Ø] Clan only the Clan Leaders can have this rank and carry the |I| tag. But this rank comes with great responsibility: the [51/5Ø] Imperators are charged with leading the Clan in a fair and responsible manner and ensuring that all members are heard and respected both inside and outside the Clan.
=======================================
ª - Admin
Admins carry the ª after their names. All admins have administrative privileges on all [51/5Ø] servers, on the web site, and on the Clan's Steam group. Note to all admins - If privileges are ever misused or abused, your privileges may be taken away. We also require a very high level of participation from all our admins. Administrative privileges may also be revoked due to inactivity.
Admins should behave in a respectful manner and represent The [51/5Ø] Clan with honor and dignity. All Clan members should treat Admins with the respect the tag demands.

He keeps us busy...and awake lol.

Posted by Cakeboy on 14-May-11 02:05pm
idk if anyone heard, but Whooran the leader of the OCD clan died last nite. i don't have any specifics of this only a link to a new steam group honoring him:
We lost a very good friend.
I have spoke with Whoorans wife this morning. John passed away last night 13 May 2011
Anita could hardly talk with me. She has asked me to let his friends know that he is in a better place and for us not to grieve but to remember him as a friend and a gamer like no other. Any one who can help by sending whatever you can to his wife and daughter will be greatly appreciated. I am having a very difficult time posting this. Whooran, John Horan. 170 East Guadalupe Way, #90, Gilbert, Az. 85234
our deepest condolences go out to his clan, family, and friends.
