Karazhan Keys

This thread was initially posted by myself under ubatuba's thread on lvl 70 dungeons.  I opted to repost in a thread by itself for easier access to other guildies.


This quest chain can be started at lvl 68.


To get us started i think we should start off with Shadow Labyrinth at Auchindoun to get key fragments for those that do not have them yet.  One way to do this all at once is to clear the instance then switch out members so that everyone can get their key fragments in one shot without having to rerun multiple times.

The sequence for the karazhan entry (although attunement is not required anymore but having keys is always a good thing) is as follows:

1.  Go to Deadwind Pass (Archmage Alturus) (right outside Karazhan)     Obtain Readings
2.  Fly to Dalaran and see Archmage Cedric.
3.  Report to Khadgar in Shattrath City
4.  1st Key fragment in Shadow Labyrinth
5.  2nd key fragment in Coilfang Reservoir (Steamvaualts)
6.  3rd Key fragment in Tempest Keep (Arcatraz)
7.  Go to Caverns of Time and talk to Medivh to enable Restored Apprentice Key.
8.  Back to Shattrath to talk to Khadgar.
9.  Back to Deadwind Pass (Outside Karazhan) and speack to Archmage Alturus again.
10.  Find Koren inside Karazhan
11.  Search Karazhan for Keanna's Log
12.  Destroy  Demonic Presence at top of Karazhan
13.  Speak to Archmage Cedric in Dalaran.

to obtain key to Karazhan steps 1-9 need to be completed.  I think it would be a good idea to get as many keys in the guild as possible.  Feyral already has it.  Lets try to get the rest of the guild keyed.

Level 70 dungeon
