It's almost expansion time and people are playing again!

Guild Bank

Hey guys our GB was raided. Apparently a guildie that hadn't played in a while gave his account info to a friend who did his best to clean us out. After I realized what he was doing I removed his GB access and made some enquiries. His bro, Darltok, figured out happened and went onto his account and returned as much as possible to our GB. Unfortunately, much was already lost.

Well, now that this problem has been taken care of I am sure we will rebuild the bank stash pretty quickly.

If you are looking for some stuff let me know. I have plenty of chars and can probably help out with what you are looking for.

Under new management

Since bakakel/Khrys/PJ has been busy with other endeavors lately he has handed over the reins of the guild to me (at least temporarily).

As my first action as guild leader I have changed rank permissions and promoted people so that all regular veteran guild members have full access to all three tabs on their main as well as their alts. I really didn't see the purpose of restricting access to proven and trusted members on their main or alts. It was just a pain in the butt. If I missed any of your characters in this change let me know.

Secondly, I am abolishing taxes on all ranks. I don't see the purpose of taxes other than earning money for more bank tabs. Currently our three tabs seem to be more than enough room for our guild. For guildies that have more money than they know what to do with, feel free to contribute to the guild bank and we will let it grow through the generosity of our members and buy more tabs when we have the cash.

Lastly, I wanted opinions on how to turn around our dwindling numbers. It defeats much of the purpose of being in a guild when you are the only guildie playing. I see a few options:

1. Actively recruit new members from the ranks of the many newbies.

2. Look for another guild to merge with. This may be a really good option if we can find a guild that is along the lines of our casual playing style.

3. Do nothing and stay small and intimate. There are certainly benefits to being in a guild where everyone knows everyone and many know each other in RL.

Couldn't help but notice that a ton of people are gone.

Taxes were bumped from february due to lack of GM. (stupid time cards)
Anyone who gave taxes to the bank will be treated as having paid March's tax.
