We are pleased to announce the information that many of you have been waiting anxiously for - the Headstart dates!

All Collector's Edition pre-order customers will have access to the Headstart from the 14th of September while all Standard Edition pre-orders will be joining them a day later on the 15th. The full range of live servers will be available to choose from when the Headstart begins and you will be able to keep your characters and any progress you made with them for the live launch on the 18th of September (note that this only applies to characters created during the Headstart, all Open Beta characters will be wiped before the Headstart begins).

WAR Release Date and Open Beta date Announced!

Today the final release date for WAR was announced as well as subscription cost.

The Day of Reckoning:
September 18th

The cost:
1 Month = $14.99
3 Months = $41.97 ($13.99 a month)
6 Months = $77.94 ($12.99 a month)

To register for Open Beta:

After August 15, 2008 visit the Mythic Entertainment Account Management website.
Create a new Warhammer Online game account.
When prompted, enter your Open Beta code.

Your Open Beta code can be found on the card in your pre-order box or in your pre-order confirmation email. Open Beta files will be available for download on August 15th. Stay tuned for more details.

We actually pay $5 less a month because Europe has a 17.5% value added tax, lol socialists. They said they would announce head-start details closer to launch. WAR is only 6 weeks away!
