Age of Chaos Code of Conduct
Posted by timpysan on 06-Oct-08 03:38pmAGE OF CHAOS CODE OF CONDUCT
INTRODUCTION
Age of Chaos is a casual, adult guild with a focus on RvR. We ask our members to follow some simple guidelines. Please understand these rules are put in place to enhance our guild members' Warhammer Online experience. We provide a fair gaming environment where people can chat, quest, take part in RvR, and enjoy their time in WAR. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact any Age of Chaos Officer. Your feedback and suggestions are appreciated.
CONDUCT IN AGE OF CHAOS
All members are expected to have good manners and to treat everyone, guild members and non-members alike, with RESPECT.
LANGUAGE
We encourage our members to remember that the children of our members sometimes watch their parents play. However, Age of Chaos is an adult guild and the language can get a little blue. What will not be tolerated is flaming other members or spamming the chat box.
PROBLEM RESOLUTION
If a player has an issue with another guild member’s behavior, please bring it to the attention of a guild officer. Officers volunteer their own time to help manage the guild and they are here to help you. The person will be spoken to by an officer and advised that repeated behavior of this kind is not acceptable.
We realize this is a game, and sometimes it can be frustrating. People make mistakes and occasionally some things can be taken the wrong way by people who don't understand when a person is joking or teasing. Fairness will always be the voice of reason.
PARTICIPATION, QUESTS, AND RVR HELP
We do not expect people to be online for every guild event. Age of Chaos is a casual guild and real life ALWAYS comes first. We would like everyone to participate when they can, and help out other players when they are able to. Look out for your guild members and help each other as much as possible, but please never demand help. If a guild member asks for help, and you are busy we do not expect anyone to drop what they are doing to go help a guild mate. We encourage players to search for quest groups in the areas they are playing in, it is a great way to meet people as well as potential guild mates.
NO NINJA LOOTING OR BEGGING
Ninja-looting can include, but is not limited to rolling need on items not usable by the class you are currently playing. It is a very serious offense and it will ruin our reputation. If someone has ninja-looted items, take a screen shot of the person and talk to the officers. Ninja-looting will immediately remove you from the guild. Remember, WAR is a game and missing out on a pretty piece of digital loot for your alt is not the end of the world.
Begging is repeatedly asking for items, gold, or assistance from anyone (guild member or players).
ALTERNATE CHARACTERS
We encourage all players that want their alts in the guild to join. However, it will never be a requirement.
COMMUNICATION
Our Website is the primary tool for our guild to share information. It provides a place to plan/discuss events, seek help with tough quests, and is a great forum to get to know each other better.
Any breach of these rules will be considered a bootable offense.
