"Followers of Light is an international kinship made for the 'Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar' MMO game, brought to all of us by Turbine. Since February 6th 2005 we have been building a unique Kinship with our Constitutional Charter that brought us a stable foundation for our structure. There are many other interesting aspects that you may discover on your own by browsing our website at www.followersoflight.com. Behind every corner there is a new surprise.

As an international kinship, FoL has members from all over the world. Our members are welcomed to pick any race and any class for their in-game character. We are a Role Playing optional kinship, but we do encourage our members to take part in it. The age span is from 13 to 60 at the moment, but maturity plays a major role in the decision to accept a new member. The Kinship is bound to a common cause under the name Followers of Light. Our obligation is to give help, assistance, support and refuge to anyone who is in need, to stand by our friends when they are in trouble and need our support, to protect all the land from the darkness and its destructive servants, and to cleanse Middle-Earth from evil so that long-lasting peace is possible."
