new form of gold spam in wow

this made me laugh. i am not quite sure exactly what the spammers did, but it sounds like they made it rain gnomes, and the dead bodies would spell out the gold sellers website. pretty creative, if you ask me.

style="font-style: italic">apparently, it was done through a client side hack. level one gnomes would be made and then somehow die and fall through the sky at certain locations. it also seems like blizzard has been hitting the gold spammers and botters HARD with bans lately. good on them!

It may be "creative", but gold spammers have absolutely no shame. Blizzard starts putting things in place so regular players don't get bombarded with 450,000 tells every day, and they resort to hacking the game to spell out words with game mobs.

I hope they are all caught and prosecuted by Blizzard.

and if you ever get a gold spam mail, do NOT open it, they can sometimes hack you by doing that and steal all your money and items.
