It's a pity you can't do this since BC (he moved to outland), now all you can do is hit HH or thrallmar, small towns. WoW needs more world bosses...

We managed once to take him down with a majority of warlocks and mages in a raid group, but its not easy. You could only use void walkers against him, evey other demon was pretty useless when attacking. The mages were frost spec too. Took an hour to drop him, but it was worth it.

The problem about Kazzak is that he keeps healing each time he kills someone, and as main cities are usually full of people who are easily one-shotted by Kazzak, and thus, in main cities, Kazzak can very easily stay in full health as he slaughters the entire city.
