With every beta there are a select few beta players participating that have gotten their invites from opt-in services, friends, family, or special offers. With most beta programs a majority of the player base usually consists of hardcore gamers. These players are smart, dedicated, and willing to help strengthen the community and improve the overall product. But, as with any closed betas, there are a few keys that find their way through Paypal and Ebay transactions allowing such outside players that are normally not invited to these closed beta events to gain access. We will be discussing the different types of unwanted players that this produces in a closed beta and the overall effects it causes in the closed beta testing process.
