its always sad to see some lay-offs and delays but delays can never be horable...ard in this case are possibly do to the fact of layoffs. which can be bad but i still don't think its time to give up on the design team yet.

I see a trend - each time some high profile pimple from the game developer or publisher company comes up with a statement which includes things along the lines of 'this is absolutely not going to happen', next thing you know - it certainly happens. This time they are saying Mythic will not be 'restructured'. Yeah, right...
Lets hope next act of the drama will not include announcing delay in reopening beta, and changing publisher to SOE

Yeah I was probably wrong about the delay, just didnt seem like they would do it from the guys I talked to at Gen Con..but ofcourse that was like 3 months ago. Will be interesting to see how AOC does in comparison to WAR now...since most likely AOC will launch first.

of course to be fair, when was the last time we saw EA give any of its developers more time and more funding to try to get it right?

I am pretty sure when we discussed this and said this meant delay QforQ told us we would be wrong...well'p I just hope this doesn't mean AoC will see WAR's delay as a ok for them to delay too

LMAO, this after they assured people that shutting down beta for two months did not mean delay. GFG.
