Valve has announced that they will update their Team Fortress 2's Scout class by next week. This Scout update will be applicable initially to Team Fortress 2's PC version, followed by the XBOX 360 version. There is no news about an update for PS3. Currently, The Sandman is the only Scout weapon available as a baseball that helps to launch an attack. With The Sandman, a player can stun the toughest enemy, but the Scouts can't double jump with baseball bats in their hands, a bit difficult in real life too. The new update will bring in two additional weapons. Valve is planning to revamp each class - Heavy, Pyro, and Medic, eventually.
