SoE and Virgin Comics announce a new MMO!

Sony Online Entertainment and Virgin Comics released today that they would be teaming up to create a new MMO based on the popular, India-based Ramayan 3392 A.D. comic book universe. Ramayan is a popular comic inspired by India Mythology. Click the title for the official press release!

SOE so messed up SWG and it had so much potential. I am iffy about this only because SOE is involved. Yeah they did good in bringing EQ to the masses, but even when I played that (and EQ2) they rarely even listen to their beta feedback. I have a love/hate relationship for SOE.

Great, now we'll have Indonesians over-populating the servers. Next, they'll take over SOE, then they destroy EQ2, then they go over to SWG and-wait...SWG!? Shit, the Indonesians are gonna bring back SWG! Keep 'em coming SOE!

India the great untapped MMO market ... now if only they can get it to run on the $200 specials they sell there.
