Name the Universe!

A high-brow sports columnist is asking for proposals to name the universe. Most of the article is not of general interest to GC (unless you want to read a long analysis of the shotgun spread offense). However, at the end of the column he issues a weekly challenge. Search for "TMQ Challenge". Also, make sure to read the last paragraph "Next Week". And submit those proposals. :)

Why does a sport columnist care about naming the universe? It's called "the universe" because there is only one, thus the prefix uni-. It doesn't need a name because names are merely for differentiating one from another. Besides, who would care enough or have respect enough for some douche thinking it's his place to name something like the universe?

"I name thee, Fred! And the universe next door, Wilma!"

Well I suppose, technically, football is a game.

At the very end: "Next Week: Multitentacled space aliens use IP-address anonymizer proxy servers to enter the Tuesday Morning Quarterback Challenge without revealing their planet of origin."

Hmm, I'm sure the shotgun spread offense can apply to gaming somehow.
