Guild Wars franchise breaks major milestone in less than three years. NCsoft® and ArenaNet® have announced that the Guild Wars® franchise of online roleplaying games has surpassed five million units sold in North America, Europe, and Asia. Real question, however, is how many active accounts are there today.

well done guildwars for bringing a game of this calibre and with guildwars 2 around the corner set for sometime in 2008, things can only get better!

It's awesome that GW finally hit 5million in sales. It's a great game series and Anet really deserve the success.
