Turbine Explains Management Changes

In a press release yesterday, Turbine stated the recent changes to the management team replacing Jeff Anderson as President and CEO with Jim Crowley, was designed to position the development company for long-term growth. No specifics were given as to how that position would be realized.

I'm not optimistic about combining non-gaming experienced execs into gaming companies. It's a very unique entertainment value that most folks, especially from mass media, just don't - and aren't - going to get, until they invest of themselves into the culture.
