The Legend of Zelda Retrospective

I know this is a little old and not technically an online game but this series of Zelda Retrospectives by Gametrailers.com has always been one of my favorite gaming videos. I find the Legend of Zelda series to be one of the best console series' of all time. This is part 1 of 6 of the pre-planned retrospective. They cover all the innovations, advances, animation and musical styles that the series has used in it's thusfar 13 released games. Links to the next 5 segments are available from the user that posted number 1.

The original Zelda titles hold the biggest spot in my gaming history... so this retrospective was quite a treat.

Now what they need to do is bring the surrealism back, Majora's mask and Link's Awakeing were way out there, I kinda miss the crazyness... though the time limit thing should definatly die.

The original came out in Aug 87 and the second one came out in Dec 88... aw the memories.
yeah i remember how funny it was when the show came out because till then you thought of Link as the hero of justice and purity, and then you watch the show he was an abnoxious teenager who couldnt stand Zelda. Funny stuff.

I loved Zelda. My original (c. 1989) Zelda cartridge stopped working last year. Link still plays. (Yes, I'm old.) I have a working NES console and love it.
