The game isn't closing down, thats all that really matters.

It's not the wrong information. Auran has closed. Whether or not Fury will continue to run is uncertain. Auran also runs a publishing arm which will apparently continue operating.

The australian game dev scene is very small and this has been confirmed by several ex auran employees.

Krome studios has opened their doors to ex Auram employees with this statement:" Auran was home to an enormously talented and creative bunch of people and there will always be a place for that level of expertise in this industry. Krome would be happy to take on staff of that calibre. If we can find a way to keep local talent working to bolster the local industry, we will certainly try to achieve that."

Ex Auran game designer and producer, David Gillespie, posted about the closure on his blog here http://splashjumanji.wordpress.com/2007/12/13/the-long-road-to-ruin/

style="font-style: italic">Do a bit of research before saying its not true guys None of the Australian dev sites would post news like this if it weren't true. We don't take any pleasure from a local company closing.

this is wrong information, the game is still running and they are lowering employees due to low revenues to pay for their employees. They are releasing a huge patch update along with a F2P gaming plan, in an effort to increase the population of the game. The game, however, is still running and is not closing down for good.

Btw, fury is a good game Try it.
