5th of December is indeed the release date. Official announcement made today.
The biggest expansion ever in EVE includes:
- a new graphics engine
- total remodeling from scratch of all ships and major objects in space
- 5 new ship classes (20 ships)
- over 140 new PvE missions
- revamped fleet interface with full voice integration (talk to one squad at a time etc.)
- new player experience improvements
- ingame corporate registry (for announcing your corp to potential members)
- changeable modules (run a sensor booster as "standard", long range or fast locking)
- Drone balancing and changes, better drone controll and AI.
- Loads of balancing and bugfixing
